Here is the deal, the NHL really doesn't get much attention in the US. I think they rank 7th behind bowling and darts for spectator sports. I would argue that hockey should be ranked first, or at least in the top three because of how fast the action is, how hard the hits are, and how exciting the game is. If those reasons don't do it for you, then how about this; In no other sport do the athletes take a break to try to kick the living s**t out of each other on occasion. I am not talking about a little man-shove like they do in basketball, or pushing each other after a play is dead in football. I am talking about dropping the gloves and putting the dukes up and fighting thirties style.
