Go read Dan's piece about taxes and Mike's piece about FSAs. Would you tell them to "just pay the bloody bill"?

That is very interesting... how did you get the data to graph?

PG&E had something on their site that would analyze gas usage. It doesn't work now that I moved, but I got it to spit out the numbers since I started my account.

New rule. No graphs or talking about statistics or math. Done and done. I'm gonging anything that fits that bill.

ok, i know, too much math here. my next piece is going to be about lesbian babboons.

First rule of creative writing don't try to defend it. Create it and leave. So pay the bloody bill, suck it up that your story sucks and start again.

Whatever buddy. We'll file your advice under 'morons'

I diagree with the article's contention that what PG&E did is a a "bad incentive", but I don't think this article sucks. It doesn't suck because it provoked thought.

This incentive didn't work for Hawerchuk 'cause he was proactive about conservation before they offered incentives. However this program will encourage most people (who are amenable to incentives in the first place). Personally, no incentive will encourage me to turn off the heat and be even slightly uncomfortable in my own home.
